Chen Named All-Region
Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii freshman outside hitter Stella Chen was named to the Daktronics All-Region First Team this week. The Daktronics team is nominated and voted upon by the sports information directors throughout the region.
Chen, a freshman Yunlin, Taiwan, averaged 4.54 kills per game and 3.5 digs per game during the season for the Seasiders as she led the team to the conference championship with a 15-1 PacWest mark and an 18-3 overall record. She is also the Pacific West Conference Player of the Year.
