Three Seasiders Honored

Laie, HI—Three Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s cross country runners were named to the Pacific West Conference Honor Roll today for their performances in last week’s UH-Hilo Invitational.  Spencer Deavila, Daniel Bridge, and Justin Royer all earned the honors for the Seasiders for leading the team to a first-place finish at the meet.

Deavila, a junior from La Mirada, California, took first place overall at the meet by clocking a time of 20:51 on the four-mile course.  Royer, a junior from Mesa, Arizona claimed second place with a time of 21:10 and Bridge, a junior from Shelby, Idaho, finished third in 21:12.  It is the fourth honor this season for Deavila and the second honor for Royer and Bridge.
