Both Chens Honored

Laie, HI—Two Brigham Young University Hawaii volleyball players have been named to the Pacific West Conference volleyball honor roll for their performances in the Seasiders’ two matches last week.  Stella Chen and Michelle Chen were each given the nod by the PacWest office.

Stella Chen, a freshman from Yunlin, Taiwan, averaged 4.57 kills per game and totaled 32 kills to go with four blocks and two aces for the week.  Michelle Chen, a freshman from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, led the conference in assists for the week with 11.57 per game and served four aces.  It is the second honor of the season for Michelle Chen and the fourth consecutive honor in as many weeks for Stella Chen.
