Laie, HI—Two Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s soccer players were honored by the Pacific West Conference this week by being named to the conference honor roll for their play in the Seasiders’ win last week over UH-Hilo. Josiah Holtz and Dillon Richens were named to the ten-member honor squad for men’s soccer by the conference office.
Holtz, a junior goal keeper from Claremont, Florida, saved six shots on goal in the 2-0 win over the Vulcans. Richens, a freshman from Farmington, Utah scored the game-winning goal in the 73rd minute to propel the Seasiders to the win. It is Richens first honor from the conference and the third in as many weeks for Holtz.
