Laie, HI—Three Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s soccer players were honored by the Pacific West Conference this week by being named to the conference honor roll for their play in the Seasiders’ two wins last week in the Hawaii Challenge Cup. Josiah Holtz, Bent Jenson, and Zack Dupaix were named to the ten-member honor squad for men’s soccer by the conference office.
Holtz, a junior goal keeper from Claremont, Florida, saved eight of nine shots on goal in the two wins. Jensen, a sophomore from Beaverton, Oregon, scored the game-winning goal with less than eight minutes to play in the Seasiders’ 1-0 victory over Chaminade and Dupaix, a junior from Kaysville, Utah, scored two goals in the team’s 3-1 victory over UH-Hilo. The honor was the second of the season for both Holtz and Jensen and the first for Dupaix.
