Three Runners Honored

Laie, HI—Three Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s cross country runners were named to the Pacific West Conference Honor Roll today for their performances in last week’s UH Big Wave Invitational.  Matt Belliston, Daniel Bridge and Spencer Deavila earned the honors for the Seasiders for leading the team to a second-place finish at the meet.

Belliston, a sophomore from Loveland, Ohio, took sixth place at the meet with a time of 16:15 on the 5K course.  Deavila, a junior from La Mirada, California, took ninth place overall at the meet by clocking a time of 16:20 while Bridge, a junior from Shelby, Montana, took 11th place with a time of 16:44.  The PacWest honor was the second this season for both Belliston and Deavila and the first for Bridge.
