Seasiders Seventh
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s basketball team dropped six spots down to number seven in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll released today. The Seasiders had held down the top spot in the nation for the previous two weeks, but suffered their first loss of the season on the road last week at 12th-ranked Seattle Pacific.
BYU–Hawaii received all eight first place votes and 200 points last week but dropped to 154 points in the poll this week to trail sixth-ranked Bentley by a single point. The Seasiders will play in Honolulu this week in the Hawaii DII Tournament hosted by Chaminade. BYU–Hawaii will face Hawaii Pacific on Friday at 5:00 pm HST.
