Women Take Ninth
San Francisco, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii's women’s cross country team finished ninth today at the NCAA II West Regional held in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The Seasiders finished with a team score of 300 in the 25-team 6K meet.
Danielle Anderson turned in the day’s best time for the Seasiders with a 44th-place finish in 23:03. Lacey Krout and Katherine Buxton finished 46th and 47th respectively with times of 23:09 and 23:10. Lacee Kurtz finished 69th in 23:43 and Allison Shamrell rounded out the team scoring with a 94th-place finish in 24:09. Kelsey Elder also ran for the Seasiders and finished in 105th place with a time of 24:21.
Alaska-Anchorage claimed the team title with 35 points and Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pacific won the individual crown with a time of 20:08.
