Kaneohe, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s golf team finished second today in a three-team match with Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade. The match was held on the par-72 Kaneohe Klipper Course. The Seasiders finished with a team total of 320 to trail Hawaii Pacific by 17 strokes for the team title.
Andrew Alston shot a 75 to tie for medalist honors and Inoka Kahawaii shot a 77 to lead the Seasiders. Jordan Gallacher carded a 79 and Tyler Welling an 89 to round out the team scoring for BYU–Hawaii.
BYU–Hawaii also had Tyson Marostica shoot a 92 and the Seasiders’ Walker Jensen, competing as an individual and not designated as one of the team scorers, shot a 77. Hawaii Pacific finished with a team total of 203 and Chaminade placed third with a 343 total.
