Faka'osi Gets Player of the Week

Laie, HI–Brigham Young University Hawaii’s Losaline Faka’osi has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance in three conference matches last week.  Faka’osi led the Seasiders to a win over Dominican and a pair of wins over Notre Dame de Namur to become the first Seasider to earn the honor this season.

Faka’osi, a sophomore outside hitter from Salt Lake City, Utah, knocked down 46 kills over the three matches to average 3.83 kills per game for the week.  She came up with 55 digs for a 4.58 per game average and also added three blocks and three service aces in the three matches.
