Seasiders Take Second
Turtle Bay, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii men’s golf team finished second today in a three-team match with Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade on the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay Resort. The Seasiders finished with a team total of 312 to trail Hawaii Pacific by 18 strokes for the team title.
Steven Wade carded the best round of the day for the Seasiders with a four-over-par 76. Doug Bischoff came in with a 77 and Andrew Alston trailed him by a stroke at 78. Spencer Adkins shot an 81 and Mike Klem rounded out the team scoring with an 82 for BYU–Hawaii.
Hawaii Pacific’s Alessandro Fossati took medalist honors with a two-under 70 as the Sea Warriors shot a 294 team total. Chaminade rounded out the field with a 365 team score.
BYU–Hawaii will be in action again on Saturday against the same two teams on the Makaha West Course at 1:00 pm.
