BYUH Falls 1-0

Seaside, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s soccer team lost a tough road match today, falling 1-0 to Cal State-Monterey Bay in a non-conference game.  The Seasiders managed just one shot on goal in each half and just one corner kick as they struggled to get anything going offensively.

BYU–Hawaii goalie Cory Cosgrove made six saves in the match, but a goal by Andrew Breault in the 44th minute proved to be the difference in the game as CSUMB improved to 3-7-2 for the season.

BYU–Hawaii, now 2-6 for the year and 1-3 in the Pacific West Conference, next game will be on Thursday against Notre Dame de Namur.  Game time for the PacWest contest is set for 4:00 pm in Belmont, California.
