Krout Honored by PacWest

Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii sophomore Lacey Krout was named the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week this week for her performance in last week’s Chaminade Invitational.  Krout was the top finisher individually as the Seasiders swept the top five spots in the race.

Krout, from Preston, Idaho, finished the 5K course in 19:20 as BYU–Hawaii’s team won its third straight meet to open the season.  The Seasiders are ranked tenth in the NCAA II West Region.
