Buxton is Runner of the Week

Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii sophomore Katherine Buxton was named the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week this week for her performance in last week’s Hawaii Pacific Invitational.  Buxton was the top finisher among Pacific West Conference runners in the meet and took fifth place overall.

Buxton, from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, finished the 5K course in 18:51, a new career best for the distance, to help the Seasiders finish first in the meet.
