Hilo, HI—Junior transfer Chris Wood notched a hat trick and assisted on the winning goal today to lead the Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s soccer team to its first win of the season today as the Seasiders defeated Chaminade 5-3 in the consolation game of the Hawaii Collegiate Challenge Cup Tournament.  Senior Sam Akinaka scored twice, including the game-winner, for BYU–Hawaii as the Seasiders improved to 1-2 for the season.
