BYUH Drops Pair to Vulcans
Laie, HI-Ivy Sessions hit a single, a double, scored a run, and drove one in on the day as the Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s softball team lost both games in today’s double-header against UH-Hilo, 3-0 and 3-2. Sessions’ hits on the day were joined by a single from Morgan Necaise in the first game and singles from Kimberly Artiaga, Brooke Perriton and Ashley Parry in the second game.
In the second game Melissa Lehano was walked in the fourth, stole second for the second time on the day, and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Sessions then doubled into left-center to score Lehano. Artiaga followed with a single to drive in Sessions with the second and final run for BYU-Hawaii.
The Seasiders will play again versus Dixie State tomorrow at 12:00 and 2:00 pm in Laie, Hawaii.
