Seasiders Still Third

Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s basketball team held on to the third spot in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll.  The Seasiders, winners of 15 straight games and 18-1 overall, received 184 points in the poll, the same number they received last week when they moved into the third position for the first time to set a new high for the school in the voting.  The Seasiders were again ranked third on all eight ballots cast in the poll to place behind the nation’s two undefeated NCAA II teams, Findlay (OH) and LIU-C.W. Post (NY).

BYU–Hawaii stands in first place in the Pacific West Conference with an 8-0 conference mark.  They are also ranked first in the NCAA II West Regional rankings.  BYU–Hawaii will face Notre Dame de Namur tonight in Hilo in a Pacific West Conference in Belmont, California.
