Highest Ranking Yet for Seasiders
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s basketball team reached a new high in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll this week, moving up one spot from number nine to number eight. It is the highest ranking attained by the Seasiders since moving to Division II at the beginning of the 1998-99 season.
The Seasiders, who were idle last week and are 3-0 for the season, were ranked ninth on three occasions in the poll. In addition to last week, BYU–Hawaii was ranked number nine last year in the December 18th poll and also hit the ninth spot back on December 21, 2004.
The Seasiders are not scheduled to play again until December 17th against Washburn (KS).
