Seasiders Close Season with Losses
Brisbane, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team brought the season to a close today by losing both games of a Pacific West Conference doubleheader to Academy of Art. The Seasiders lost the first game 6-2 and the second game 8-5 as they finished 6-42 for the season and 3-29 in the PacWest conference.
Frampton Leads Seasiders to Win
San Rafael, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team snapped its losing streak today by defeating Dominican 8-7 in the opening game of a Pacific West Conference doubleheader. The Seasiders lost the second game 6-1 as they moved to 6-40 for the season and 3-27 in the PacWest and stayed ahead of the Penguins in the conference standings.
Seasiders Lose Doubleheader to Holy Names
Hayward, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games to Holy Names today. The Seasiders lost the first game 5-3 and the second 5-0 as they fell to 5-39 for the season and 2-26 in the PacWest.

Belmont, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games to Notre Dame de Namur for the second day in a row today. The Seasiders lost the first game 10-2 and the second 3-1 as they fell to 5-37 for the season and 2-24 in the PacWest.
Softball Loses Two to Argonauts
Belmont, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of games to Notre Dame de Namur to open a Pacific West Conference road trip today. The Seasiders lost the first game 4-2 and the second 1-0 as they fell to 5-35 for the season and 2-22 in the PacWest.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team put up a fight against the Pacific West Conference’s first-place team today but eventually fell 10-8 to UH-Hilo in the opening game of a doubleheader. The Seasiders dropped the second game 8-1 as they fell to 5-33 for the season and 2-20 in the PacWest.
Seasiders Fall to Sea Warriors Twice
Kaneohe, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games today Hawaii Pacific, losing the first game 11-3 and the second 12-4. Both games were shortened to five innings by the eight-run rule as the Seasiders fell to 5-31 for the season and 2-18 in the PacWest.

Honolulu, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games today Azusa Pacific, losing the first game 2-0 and the second 10-2. The Seasiders got a strong pitching performance from senior Tiffanee Frampton in the first game but still fell to 5-27 for the season and 2-14 in the PacWest.
Frampton Homers Twice as Seasiders Lose Doubleheader
Waipio, HI—Senior Tiffanee Frampton blasted a pair of solo home runs and freshman teammate Sara Brown cranked a three-run homer of her own but it wasn’t enough as the Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games today Chaminade, losing the first game 6-2 and the second 7-6. The Seasiders’ bats came alive to the tune of 15 hits in the doubleheader but BYU-Hawaii still fell to 5-25 for the season and 2-12 in the PacWest.
Seasiders Drop Pair to Eighth-Ranked Antelopes
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped a pair of Pacific West Conference games today with 8th-ranked Grand Canyon, losing the first game 15-6 and the second 9-0. The Seasiders struggled offensively, getting just seven hits in the two games as they fell to 5-23 for the season and 2-10 in the PacWest.

Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader against Chaminade today, losing the first game 8-3 and the second 3-2. The Seasiders got a pair of strong pitching performances but were victimized by five unearned runs in the opener and a Chaminade comeback in the second game.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team picked up its first two wins of the season today as it swept Chaminade in a doubleheader. The Seasiders took a come-from-behind, 4-3 win in the first game and then took the second game 6-2 behind a strong pitching performance from junior Gabby Hawkins.
Seasiders Bang Out 14 Hits in Doubleheader
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team’s bats came alive today as they banged out a season-high eight hits in the opening game of a doubleheader against Simon Fraser and followed that up with another six hit, matching their previous season high, in the second game. Unfortunately, neither output resulted in a win as the Seasiders fell to the Clan 9-2 and 8-0.

The Seasiders lost the first game 8-0 and fell in the second game 10-0 to fall to 0-8 for the season. Both games were shortened to five innings by the eight-run rule.
Two Close Losses for Seasiders
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball dropped a pair of close games today in a home-opener doubleheader against St. Martin’s. The Seasiders lost the first game 3-1 and fell in the second game 3-2 to fall to 0-6 for the season.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball dropped two games today at the Kona Kickoff Classic. The Seasiders lost a heartbreaker to St. Martin’s, 4-3, in the first game of the day and then dropped a 7-1 decision to 15th-ranked Rollins in a later game to fall to 0-4 for the season.
Seasiders Open Season with Two Losses
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball dropped a pair of games to open the season at the Kona Kickoff Classic. The Seasiders lost to Western Washington 11-2 in the first game of the day and then dropped a 1-0 decision to host UH-Hilo in an evening game to start the season 0-2.
Dave George Named Head Softball Coach
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii Athletic Department has hired Dave George of Surprise, Arizona as the new Head Softball Coach of the Seasiders. George replaces Scott Lowe who will continue as the school’s assistant athletic director and sports information director a will act as a softball assistant coach until Coach George can fill out his staff.
All-State Outfielder Signs with Seasiders
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team has signed Hadli Sorenson of Tooele, Utah and Tooele High School to a national letter of intent to play for the Seasiders this coming season. Sorenson helped lead Tooele to the state tournament every year of her high school career and to the state title in 2010.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team has signed Aria Agle of Mapleton, Utah, Springville High School, and Western Nebraska Community College to a national letter of intent to play for the Seasiders this coming season. Agle helped lead Western Nebraska to the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship tournament each of the past two seasons.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team has signed Keagan Hanny of South Jordan, Utah and Bingham High School to a national letter of intent to play for the Seasiders this coming season. Hanny helped lead Bingham to the third-place spot in the Utah 5A State Tournament this past spring.
Seasiders Sign Standout Shortstop
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii softball team has signed Hannah Kelson of Midway, Utah and Wasatch High School to a national letter of intent to play for the Seasiders this coming season. Kelson was a three-sport athlete at Wasatch, playing softball, volleyball, and basketball, and led the Wasatch softball team to the state tournament this year.
