Laie, HI—Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s soccer player Britt Edman was named today to the Daktronics All-Region Second Team. The Daktronics team is nominated by and voted on by the region sports information directors.
Edman, Three Others Named All-Conference
Laie, HI—Four Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s soccer players were honored today by inclusion on the Pacific West Conference All-Conference Teams. Senior forward Britt Edman led the way by being named to the All-Conference First Team. Midfielder Natalie Drewery and defender Sadie Kamoe were both named to the All-Conference Second Team and goal keeper Megan McCain was given All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.
Edman Named Player of the Week
Laie, HI—Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s soccer player Britt Edman was honored by the Pacific West Conference for her play last week by being named the Player of the Week. Edman was given the honor by the conference office for her play in the Seasiders’ 1-1 record last week.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team brought the season to a close in a big way today, defeating Chaminade 7-1 in a Pacific West Conference match. Senior Britt Edman scored three goals on senior day to lead the onslaught as the Seasiders finished the season 12-3-1 overall and 8-3-1 in the PacWest.
Laie, HI—Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s soccer player Britt Edman was named today to the Capitol One Academic All-District Team for District 8 of NCAA II, which is comprised of the schools in the Western part of the United States.

Seasiders Fall to Fifth in Region
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team dropped one spot to fifth place in the NCAA II West Regional rankings released today after losing their second match of the season last week. The top six teams in the regional rankings at the end of the season advance to the regional tournament.
Laie, HI—Brigham Young University-Hawaii women’s soccer player Rylei North was honored by the Pacific West Conference for her play last week by being named to the PacWest Honor Roll this week. North was given the honor by the conference office for her play in the Seasiders’ 2-1 record on the road last week.
San Rafael, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team defeated Dominican 3-1 on the road in a Pacific West Conference match today. After a scoreless first half, the Seasiders exploded for three goals in a 19-minute stretch in the second half as they improved to 11-2-1 for the season and 7-2-1 in the PacWest.
San Francisco, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team got back on the winning track today, defeating Academy of Art 3-0 on the road in a Pacific West Conference match. The Seasiders scored twice the first half and once in the final minutes as they improved to 10-2-1 for the season and 6-2-1 in the PacWest.
Women's Soccer Ranked Fourth Regionally
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team is ranked fourth in the NCAA II West Regional rankings released today. The top eight teams in the regional rankings at the end of the season advance to the regional tournament.
Belmont, CA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team suffered its second defeat of the season today, losing 2-0 to Notre Dame de Namur on the road in a Pacific West Conference match. The Seasiders got off just seven shots in the match as they fell to 9-2-1 for the season and 5-2-1 in the PacWest.

Edman Wins It with One Second Left in Overtime
Laie, HI—Senior forward Britt Edman scored with just one second left in overtime today to lead the Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Hawaii Pacific today in a non-conference match. Edman dribbled the ball along the baseline from the right side and drilled the ball into the left corner of the net just before the horn as the Seasiders improved to 9-1-1 for the season.
Women's Soccer Suffers First Loss
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the season today, losing to Cal Baptist 2-0 in a Pacific West Conference match. The Seasiders out-shot the Lancers 15-5 and held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks but could not find the net as they fell to 8-1-1 for the season and 5-1-1 in the PacWest.

Hilo, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team defeated UH-Hilo today on the road by a 4-1 score in a Pacific West Conference match. The Seasiders, who defeated the Vulcans for the third time this season, scored twice in each half as they improved to 7-0-1 for the season and 4-0-1 in the PacWest.

Hilo, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team eked out a tough, non-conference win over UH-Hilo today on the road by a 2-1 score. The Seasiders, who defeated the Vulcans earlier in the season in Laie, were out-shot 11-6 in today’s game but managed to light up the scoreboard one more time than the host team to improve to 5-0-1 for the season.
McCain Named Player of the Week, North on Honor Roll
Laie, HI—Brigham Young University-Hawaii Women’s soccer goal keeper Megan McCain was honored by the Pacific West Conference for her play last week by being named the PacWest Player of the Week today. This is the first Player of the Week honor for McCain this season.
Seasiders Knock Off Conference-Leading Sea Warriors
Kaneohe, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s soccer team scored an important 3-0 Pacific West Conference road victory today over Hawaii Pacific in a battle of conference unbeatens. The Sea Warriors entered the match at the top of the conference standings but the visiting Seasiders shut down the home team as BYU-Hawaii improved to 4-0-1 for the year and 2-0-1 in the PacWest.

Forward Britt Edman and goal keeper Megan McCain received the honors from the conference office for their part in BYU-Hawaii’s victories over Mary and Chaminade last week.

The Seasiders dominated the match throughout, out-shooting the Silverswords 22-1 for the day.

Edman Goal Lifts Seasiders to 2OT Win
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii Women’s Soccer team defeated the University of Mary today 1-0 in double overtime on a Britt Edman goal in the 103rd minute of play. Edman’s goal capped a frustrating day for the Seasider offense as BYU-Hawaii out-shot the Marauders 23-6 before finally netting a goal.
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii Women’s Soccer team opened the season today with a 3-0 win over Holy Names University. The Seasiders scored three goals in a span of 3:13 late in the second half after the two teams played sluggishly for most of the contest.
Seasiders Given Pre-Season Nod to Top Conference
Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University-Hawaii Women’s Soccer team was given the pre-season nod by the conference coaches to repeat as Pacific West Conference champions this year. The Seasiders received five first-place votes and 92 points to narrowly edge Grand Canyon’s four first-place votes and 90 points in the voting from the ten PacWest coaches. Dixie State received the other first-place vote and finished third in the voting.
