Spokane, WA—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country team took 12th place out of 24 teams at the NCAA II West Regional Championships today. The Seasiders placed two runners in the top 40 out of 165 runners in the meet. Phoenix, AX—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country team took second place at the Pacific West Conference Championships today. The Seasiders totaled 48 points to trail only conference newcomer Cal Baptist. Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii’s Lacey Krout was honored today as the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second week in a row for leading the Seasiders to first place at the Chaminade Invitational on Saturday. Additionally, five other Seasiders, Katherine Buxton, Kassondra McGonegal, Kelsey Royer, Katrina Kropushek, and Veronica Camarillo, were named to the PacWest Honor Roll. Waipahu, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country team placed five runners in the top six to easily run away with the team title at the Chaminade Invitational today. The Seasiders scored 17 points to easily outpace second-place Hawaii in the five-team meet. Krout Runner of the Week, Buxton on Honor Roll Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii’s Lacey Krout was honored today as the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for leading the Seasiders to second place at the UH-Hilo Invitational on Saturday. Additionally Katherine Buxton was named to the PacWest Honor Roll. Seasiders Take Second, Krout Wins Hilo, HI—Lacey Krout picked up another individual win but the Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country team took second place at the UH-Hilo Invitational today. Krout took first place overall in a time of 18:21 over the 5K course to lead the Seasiders to a team score of 43. Krout, Five Others Honored by PacWest Laie, HI—Brigham Young University Hawaii’s Lacey Krout was honored today as the Pacific West Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for leading the Seasiders to the team title at the BYU-Hawaii Invitational on Saturday. Additionally, five other Seasiders, Katherine Buxton, Kassie McGonegal, Katrina Kropushek, Kelsey Royer, and Veronica Camarillo, were named to the ten-member PacWest Honor Roll. Laie, HI—Lacey Krout led a quintet of Brigham Young University Hawaii runners to five of the top ten spots today as the Seasider women’s cross country team won the BYU-Hawaii Invitational. Krout took first place overall to lead the Seasiders to a team score of 21 to claim the title easily. Buxton, Krout Honored by Conference Laie, HI—Two Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country runners were named to the Pacific West Conference Honor Roll today for their performance in last weekend’s UH Big Wave Race. Katherine Buxton and Lacey Krout were both honored for the second consecutive week to start the season. Kaneohe, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii's women’s cross country team took second place today at the UH Big Wave Invitational. The Seasiders took two of the top five spots to finish with 55 team points to trail only Alaska-Anchorage’s 19 points. Three Seasiders Honored by PacWest Laie, HI—Three Brigham Young University Hawaii women’s cross country runners were named to the Pacific West Conference Honor Roll today for their performance in last weekend’s Hawaii Pacific Invitational. Women Harriers Earn Second Place Kahaluu, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii's women’s cross country team took second place today at the Hawaii Pacific Invitational. The Seasiders took three of the top ten spots and to finish with 51 team points to trail only Alaska-Anchorage’s 21 points. Seasiders Sixth in Regional Poll Laie, HI—The Brigham Young University Hawaii's women’s cross country team showed up in sixth place in the pre-season United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings today. |
